Sinupret extract is a herbal medicine for inflammation of the
paranasal sinuses.
Sinupret extract is used for acute, uncomplicated inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (acute, uncomplicated rhinosinusitis) with symptoms such as a runny nose, stuffy nose, headache and facial pain or pressure.
Sinupret extract is used in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over.
Sinupret extract must not be taken if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active ingredient or one of the other components of this
Recommended dose:
Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over should take 1 coated tablet 3 times a day (maximum 3 coated tablets per day).
There are insufficient data to support dose adjustment recommendations in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
Use in children and adolescents
Use in children and adolescents under 12 years of age is not recommended due to a lack of sufficient data.
Method of use
The Sinupret extract coated tablet is swallowed with a liquid (e.g. a glass of water) and without chewing, 3 times a day (morning, noon and evening). If your stomach is sensitive, it is better to take Sinupret intens coated tablets after a meal.
Duration of treatment
Unless otherwise indicated, the duration of treatment is 7-14 days. If your condition has not improved during this time or the symptoms persist even later, consult a doctor.
Composition of Sinupret Extract
1 coated tablet contains:
Active ingredient: 160.00 mg dry extract (3-6:1) from gentian root, cowslip flowers, dock herb, elderflower, verbena (1:3:3:3:3) 1. Extractant: Ethanol 51%
The other components are: Spray-dried Arabic gum, calcium carbonate, carnauba wax, Cellulose powder, microcrystalline cellulose, chlorophyll powder 25% (E140), Dextrin (from corn starch), glucose syrup, hypromellose, indigo carmine, aluminum salt (E 132), magnesium stearate (Ph.Eur.) [vegetable], maltodextrin, Riboflavin (E 101), highly disperse silicon dioxide, highly disperse hydrophobic silicon dioxide, stearic acid, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171).
Sinupret extract is gluten and lactose free.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store in a dry, dark place, out of the reach of children below 25°C / 77°F.
Daily servings: 3 coated tablets
