INSTYLAN Sterile Solution 50 ml is a Class IIa medical device formulated with 0.16% hyaluronic acid for intravesical irrigation. It protects and restores the bladder’s mucosal lining during inflammation, injury, or surgical procedures.
INSTYLAN is a sterile, pyrogen-free solution designed to form a viscous, elastic film over the bladder mucosa. This barrier helps shield the tissue from irritants such as urine and supports healing during conditions like cystitis or after urological interventions.
Indications for Use
• Protection and regeneration of the bladder mucosa during or after procedures such as ureteroscopy, cystoscopy, transurethral resection, and pelvic radiation therapy
• Supportive care for chronic or recurrent cystitis, interstitial cystitis, and overactive bladder
• Temporary protection from harmful effects of bladder contents in cases of mucosal injury or inflammation
• Intended for use via urological catheter by trained medical professionals
Recommended Daily Dose
Typically used once weekly for the first month, with reduced frequency in subsequent months depending on clinical need.
Directions for Use
Ensure the bladder is emptied before irrigation. Remove the cap from the pre-filled 50 ml disposable bag and connect it directly to a urological catheter. Instill the solution into the bladder under aseptic conditions. Use immediately after opening; do not reuse or resterilize. Do not use if the solution is cloudy or the packaging is damaged. Not suitable for children, pregnant or lactating women, or individuals with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid.
Composition
Sodium hyaluronate 0.16% (80 mg/50 ml), water for injection, sodium chloride, phosphate buffer.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store in a dry, dark place, out of the reach of children below 25°C / 77°F.
